About the Artist...
I am a mixed media artist, painting, sewing and creating original art in my own unique style that is filled with sunshine and happiness!

My studio is based in the beautiful and tranquil English county of Buckinghamshire, where I live with my family. Living in such a picturesque part of the world, my artistic inspiration comes from the breathtaking British countryside - and of course the little villages - about which I am passionate.

I love to explore the countryside in search of new subjects, ideas and inspirations for my art. To record ideas, I use photography and often sketch scenes and thoughts to take back to my studio.
Using watercolours and gouache to create my paintings, I often explore ideas further by sewing onto my art using textiles to create an appliqué effect, as well as using wire, beading and embroidery.
All of my textile work and embroidery is sewn to my paintings by hand, as it makes me feel so much closer to my art than a machine ever could; this aspect is very important to me as an artist. As a result, the finished piece of work is undoubtedly more natural and more personal.
